Blemishes & A Frog
Wouldn't you know it... this big pink dot shows up on my picture taking day... it figures!
Hmm... what is that?
Staring contest begins... The weather is getting warmer and my fur is shedding like crazy. I can probably collect all my fur 'droppings' and donate a nice rockstar wig to a bald hamster. Stay cool! :)

My little buddy

So we finally extracted some pics from my visit at Sam's house... It's great to finally find a play mate that's actually younger than me! (by 1.5 years)

I'm a guard dog towards other dogs...
You may think i'm paranoid, but I am very sure that EVERY dog in the world is out to get me. I'm no dummy... just because a dog is half my size and looks like cotton candy - he's a threat and I MUST show that I'm not afraid.Take today, for instance. We went to the Off Leash park for a Dog Fair that was going on... and you'd be amazed at how many different types of dogs were there. And i barked at every four legged creature that came within 2 feet of me. Oddly enough, almost every human who heard me, was amazed by my voice.
One lady exclaimed, "I thought that was some kind of bird noise... then I realized it was his bark!" A little girl even imitated me and tried to get me to bark on her cell phone so that her brother could hear. (Imitation is a form of Flattery, you know.)
A bit earlier today I was at my buddy Sam's house. He's 2 1/2 and a little taller than me when I am on my hind legs. We had a great time in the backyard (love those places!) and I even took him for a walk as he held on to my leash and followed me around.

I'm pretty pooped now though, so until next time...

The world is my ice cream...
Here's my new buddy Byron. He's got a lotta energy, this human. He came over to visit for the first time (that I've seen him anyway) and immediately started to hide my favorite toy and then offer it out to me... *just* out of my reach.
So of course, I had to retaliate the first chance he was at eye level... and use my "You-Are-My-Ice-Cream" attack. Basically this move consists of immobilizing your opponent by constant and rapid licks to the facial region.
As you can see, my opponent had no chance.Despite the macho defeat, Byron was a good sport and still said I was a good dog. He even spent the time to toss me some treats, which I am getting better at catching *in the air* while sitting patiently... thank you very much. :)
Byron - if you're reading this - hope you come visit again... got some licks for ya! :)

The Happy Mercedes Lady
Just a quick update today. On my daily morning walk, a light brown mercedes stopped a few feet up the street from us and a very excited lady jumped out and yelled, "Is that a Boston Terrier?!?"I think my owner was a little shocked at this but told her yes. Suddenly I was given lots of hugs by this strange lady as she was asking how old I was, and where I came from and how cute I was... yadda yadda.
Then she said she was late for work and hopped back in her car and drove off.
People are something, aren't they? :)

Its a doggy dog world
You may have been reading my blogs, and for the most part, it's been happy times for me, with the occasional flea bites & what not.

Well the sad truth is... life isn't just sunshine and smiles. Sometimes it's tougher than that. Sometimes a nice dog gets picked on, and this weekend it was ME.
Remember that great time I had the first time i went to a Dog Park? Well we went back thinking we could have a great time again. Instead, the dogs there last Sunday didn't like little ol' me running around like a race dog. At least two started chasing me and making snarly noises as I tried to mind my own business running like the wind... AND THEN, the one dog that kinda looked like me (at least had the same colors as I did) actually started biting at me and made me flip over a few times in the grass! I cut my foot because of that stupid canine! So that was enough for us. We were out of there in no more than 3 minutes... I had a slightly bloody toe now and I only got 3 minutes of exercise. What a lousy day.
I think i'm slowly getting over it though. And I think I need to start bulking up so that those other dogs will think twice before picking on me. I'm hoping this white dumb bell will do the trick.

Mean dogs. Beware.
